Dual Credit Students
Dual credit students do not qualify for federal financial aid. However, San Jacinto College offers assistance through the Texas Public Education Grant (TPEG). Find out if you are eligible and apply today!
Eligibility
We encourage you to submit a TPEG application if you meet all of the following:
- Your high school does not pay the 25% of the cost that is not covered by San Jac
- You do not qualify for the FAST program
- You are in compliance with the San Jacinto College academic requirements for receiving financial aid.
- You have a financial need.
Please consult with the dual credit office to verify dual credit eligibility.

Register for Classes
Register for classes with the dual credit office to ensure that dual credit exemptions will be posted to your account.
