National Summer Transportation Institute Camp

This exciting camp will open your eyes to the fascinating world of transportation and help you discover how different parts of the transportation system work together! Best of all, attendance is free!

Who can attend, and how much is it?

We accept high school students ages 14-18 (incoming freshmen through seniors). The cost is free!

How long is camp?

The camp lasts for three weeks with each week focusing on a specific area of transportation (land, air, water). 

What should I expect at camp?

The camp will consists of field trips, presentations and projects relating to a variety of careers in each area of transportation. 

What’s the camp schedule?

Monday to Friday, 8 a.m to 4 p.m.
Week 1: June 10-14
Week 2: June 17-21
Week 3: June 24-28

Is lunch provided?

Yes! Lunch and snacks will be provided to the students.

Where is the camp located?

The camp is located at the San Jacinto Central Campus.

The National Summer Transportation Institute (NSTI) is a 3-week camp for high school students from incoming freshmen through seniors. Each week will focus on a specific area of transportation - land, water, air - with field trips, presentations and projects relating to a variety of careers in each area.
