I earned my Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown, where I developed a strong appreciation for lifelong learning and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. I enjoy building meaningful relationships and strive to bring a positive, friendly attitude to everything I do. In my free time, you'll usually find me spending quality time with my family and my Golden Retriever, getting lost in a good book, or checking out new restaurants, coffee shops, and matcha spots around town.

My Student Advice
Take ownership of your college journey and remember that your success begins with
the choices you make each day. Be proactive, ask questions, meet deadlines, and never
hesitate to seek support when you need it. Challenges are a natural part of the learning
process, so instead of focusing on who or what is to blame, embrace each experience
as an opportunity to grow. Holding yourself accountable for your decisions and learning
from setbacks will help you build confidence, resilience, and independence. Give yourself
grace, stay committed to your goals, and remember that every step forward—big or small—is
progress.
