Getting on the ballot and filing campaign finance reports are two different processes. All candidates for public office myst submit an Application for a Place on the Ballot for a General Election and file an Appointment of a Campaign Treasurer. This documentation allows the candidate's name to be place on the ballot. These forms are not required to be posted on the College's website but are available to view at the College's administrative offices.
Campaign finance reports must also be made available for public inspection during regular business hours. In addition, they must be posted on our website 10 business days after the date the report is received. All reports received by the College have been posted as required. It is important to note that the College has no responsibility to ensure campaign finance reports are filed by the candidates and we have no authority to enforce a failure to submit them. As a courtesy, we follow up with the candidates to ensure they are aware of the filing requirements and deadlines.
